Fred's Streamers 

Our custom tied Eco Fred's Streamers come in the following colour combinations and tied on our premium barbless Iklwa #10 long hooks.

Olive/Black - 2,5mm black steel bead chain eye's, black thread, rapped olive caterpillar zonker body, black marabou tail with silver holographic flash.

Black/Red - 2,5mm black steel bead chain eye's, black thread, rapped black zonker body, red marabou tail with silver holographic flash.

Black/Chartreuse - 2,5mm black steel bead chain eye's, black thread, rapped black zonker body, chartreuse marabou tail with silver holographic flash.

The story behind Fred's Streamers is quite a unique one. Although they may not be new and there may be variants of this fly, the Fred's Streamer was designed and tied by a young gentleman(14 years old) by the name of Frede, he is a young entrepreneur who's passion for tying flies has gone from a hobby too him trying to make a go of it as a commercial fly tier. As his story follows very closely to Venture's story we are very keen on supporting Frede. We are discussing a full range of Frede's flies that will be available through Venture Flyfishing, so keep an eye open for some new exciting flies to come.

The Fred's Streamer can be fish for a multitude of freshwater species. It can be fish with all types of lines but is best fished with an intermediate or sinking line. From close to structure to open water, the action of this streamer will drive all predatory freshwater fish wild.
